Only 10 days to go until we travel to the Erin Arts Centre to set up the Manx Nature Show!
What is the Manx Nature Show?- 22 local environmental groups come together to showcase their work by way of an exhibition
Thanks to Unesco Biosphere Isle of Man and Heads-Up Design for their support We are delighted to move the Manx Nature Show exhibition to Erin Arts Centre in November, where it will remin in place over the entire festive period. The show opens at this location on 21st November until 5th January 2024! It will be open each week Tuesday-Friday 10:30-16:30.
Thank you in advance to the Erin Arts Centre- we are very excited to bring the show to you. The Manx Nature Show headed up to Ramsey during the summer for a month-long exhibition at Ramsey Town Hall.
We would like to thank Ramsey Town Commissioners for hosting the Manx Nature Show and keeping an eye on things (keeping leaflets tidy and topping up the kids colouring). We heard some great feedback from the staff about footfall to the show. We are so pleased to have been able to bring the show to the north of the island in such a fantastic venue. The Manx Nature Show display boards will move around the Island in venues that have the space for all 20 A1 boards and which are open most days.
We are delighted to have found two host venues: Ramsey Town Hall- Summer 2023 and Erin Arts Centre Winter 2023. The exhibition will go up in the foyer of Ramsey Town Hall and be there to view from 17th July-19th August to coincide with school holidays and the tourist season. This busy town hall also has a popular library. There is parking at the rear and it is just a couple of minutes walk from the main bus stop. The Erin Arts Centre is a popular venue and we are delighted that the Manx Nature Show will be exhibited there over the festive period. It will be in place between 20th November and 8th January. Thank you to these two fantastic venues for allowing us to bring the Manx Nature Show travelling exhibition to the public eye once again. We would love to hear your comments on the exhibition and workshops. What did you enjoy about the show? What would you change if we ran it again? Was the information clearly laid out? Your thoughts are so valuable to us.
We would love for the Manx Nature Show display boards to continue to be used especially over the summer season and we are currently trying to find a new location to display them. Does anyone have any ideas? A huge thanks to all groups, and to Unesco Biosphere Isle of Man for funding this project, Cathedral Isle of Man for hosting, Heads-Up Design for designing the display boards and Hooper's for printing them. |
